Jie Li

Jie was trained in linguistics and taught language courses at universities in China and USA for 7 years before he moved to Christchurch, New Zealand in 2013. He then worked as a destination marketer at ChristchurchNZ and Christchurch International Airport Limited, promoting our beautiful piece of the world to international visitors for another 7 years.

Jie has always been passionate about laws and obtained the New Zealand Diploma in Legal Executive Studies in 2021. He continues his pursuit in law and studies part-time towards obtaining a New Zealand Diploma of Conveyancing.

Jie is approachable and empathetic and is more than happy to assist clients with immigration applications and property conveyancing. Jie has been through this journey himself as an immigrant settling in New Zealand and knows clients’ needs and concerns.

Outside work, he loves gardening, cooking and raising backyard chickens. Collecting fresh eggs every morning is a daily delight for him.
